Ginneene Barone, M.A., LAPC
’m Ginneene, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, and I believe you don’t have to face life’s challenges alone.
My passion is helping people navigate the places in life where they feel stuck, overwhelmed, uncertain, or disconnected from who they truly are. I believe that every person has value, purpose, and the capacity for growth—and sometimes we simply need a safe, compassionate person to walk alongside us as we find our way forward.
My approach to counseling is rooted in love, grace, empathy, and truth. I want you to feel seen and understood while also feeling encouraged and empowered to face the issues that may be holding you back. Together, we can gently uncover what’s underneath the struggle, build confidence, develop healthier patterns, and take meaningful steps toward the person you want to become.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Waynesburg University, with an emphasis in a Biblical approach to counseling. I earned my undergraduate degree from West Virginia University, where I majored in Spanish and Psychology.
Whether you’re facing a difficult season, working through past experiences, struggling with confidence or relationships, or simply know that it’s time for something to change, I’m here to meet you where you are—with compassion and
Helping You Find Your Way Forward
I believe that feeling stuck doesn’t have to mean staying stuck.
With experience supporting children, teens, young adults, and people across the lifespan, I offer a warm, caring, and non-judgmental space where you can feel truly heard, understood, and seen. My approach is grounded in empathy, trust, and person-centered therapy, because I believe meaningful change begins when you feel safe enough to be yourself.
Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way, build confidence, and find practical ways forward.
A Personalized Approach to Growth and Healing
I draw from a range of clinical approaches to create a therapeutic experience that is thoughtful, personalized, and focused on meaningful change.
Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we can explore and challenge thought patterns that may be keeping you stuck. As your thoughts begin to shift, your emotions and behaviors can shift too—creating healthier patterns and more positive outcomes in your life.
Through psychodynamic therapy, we can gently explore deeper patterns, experiences, and blind spots that may be influencing how you think, feel, and relate to yourself and others. Bringing these patterns into awareness can open the door to greater understanding and freedom.
I also incorporate trauma-informed approaches to help you understand the different parts of yourself that may feel stuck in past experiences. Together, we work with compassion and care to help you move toward greater wholeness, confidence, and emotional freedom.
For those who desire it, I also offer Christ-centered counseling, integrating faith into the therapeutic process. This approach can help you explore your identity, worth, and purpose through the lens of God’s love and the fullness of life found in Christ. My goal is to create a space where faith can be thoughtfully and meaningfully integrated into your healing journey.
Most importantly, therapy is not about simply talking—it’s about moving forward. Together, we’ll identify the areas of your life where you feel stuck, establish realistic goals, track your progress, and celebrate the steps you take along the way.
Healing is a process, but change is possible. Let’s work together to help you build confidence, gain clarity, and move toward the next level of your life.
