Phoebe Schweers
Phoebe Schweers, M.S.Ed., LAPC
Phoebe, LAPC, is passionate about creating a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable showing up as they are. She strives to foster a therapeutic space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly. Whether a client comes to therapy with a specific concern they are ready to address or simply needs a supportive space to process life's challenges, she is committed to meeting them where they are.
Phoebe is particularly interested in helping clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She believes that increased awareness of unhelpful thinking patterns can lead to healthier emotional experiences and more intentional actions. She enjoys helping clients challenge self-defeating beliefs, develop effective coping strategies, and build confidence in their ability to navigate life's challenges.
Phoebe also enjoys helping clients who feel stuck or disconnected from the life they want to create. Many individuals know what changes they would like to make but struggle to find the motivation, confidence, or momentum to take the first step. She works collaboratively with clients to identify barriers that may be holding them back, clarify their values and goals, and develop realistic, manageable steps toward meaningful change. She believes that growth often comes from consistent small actions and enjoys helping clients recognize their strengths, build self-trust, and move closer to reaching their full potential.
Phoebe believes that growth often happens when we learn to face the fears and situations we may have been avoiding. With support and encouragement, clients can gradually build confidence, reduce distress, and discover that they are capable of handling more than they may have believed. She works collaboratively with clients to help them move toward the life they want while honoring their individual pace and comfort level.
